The main educational objective is to nurture social workers that possess knowledge/technology/practical abilities/communication skills and ethics suitable to improve the social welfare for humans. Yeonsung University also aims to nurture individuals with strong program development abilities (stressed in social welfare sites), social welfare consultation abilities, case management ability and domiciliary care support ability.

The department of Social Welfare (Major in Early Childhood Social Welfare) aims, under the virtues of communication, integration and moral education, to nurture child care teachers that not only fulfills child care welfare tasks, but also possesses the ability to protect and educate young children
